Miller’s Deep Lake Lodge is conveniently connected to the Tri-County Recreational Corridor in Bayfield County just west of Iron River, WI. Traverse the breathtaking winter landscapes of Ashland County and Bayfield County which combined have over 600,000 acres of public land, 800 miles of groomed trails and 1,000 miles of ungroomed forest roads for your riding pleasure.

Stop for a bite to eat or snowmobile from your front door and enjoy the vast trail system when you stay in one of our cabin rentals.

ATV TRAILS

The Tri-County Recreational Corridor offers approximately 62 miles of improved railroad grade that runs through Ashland, Bayfield and Douglas Counties and connects Ashland to Superior. Deep Lake Lodge is conveniently located near the Tri-County Corridor. In addition, the Chequamegon National Forest in Ashland and Bayfield Counties has even more trails.

World famous skiing in the heart of the North!SKIING

The Brule State Forest which is a short drive from Deep Lake Lodge offers wonderful cross country ski trails that wind through the forest.

The Chequamegon National Forest offers 200 miles of designated cross-country trails. Trails vary by size and difficulty, but they all offer skiers beautiful and serene experiences, and for many, and ideal escape from the everyday stresses of life! Most trails are groomed for both traditional style skiing and ski-skating.

Many fine lakes to exploreBOATING

Deep Lake is a 125 acre clear water lake with a max depth of about 30 feet. Cruise the lake or enjoy some water sports. Bayfield County has many fine lakes to explore.

Canoeing or kayaking the picturesque Brule River offers a variety of slow and fast waters for the paddling enthusiast.

Deep Lake Lodge is only 20 miles from Lake Superior which offers sea kayaking adventures in the Apostle Islands. Rentals and guide services are available out of Bayfield. Take a scenic narrated cruise of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore with Apostle Islands Cruise Service out of Bayfield.

FISHING

You will find just the type of fish and fishing you are looking for in one of the 96 lakes around the Iron River Area including Deep Lake. Area lakes offer excellent fishing for panfish, walleye, bass, northern pike and muskie.

Some of the finest fishing around!Our area offers some of the very finest stream and fly fishing opportunities available in the entire state of Wisconsin with the Brule River, Iron River and White River located only a short drive from Deep Lake Lodge.

Lake Superior is only 20 miles from Deep Lake Lodge and charter fishing services are available out of Port Wing, WI.

Deep Lake Lodge is centrally located in Bayfield County with easy access to great snowmobiling, fishing, biking, skiing and all the four season fun in the Iron River Area of Northern Wisconsin.
